Welcome to Meadowfresh of Chesterfield
Meadowfresh of Chesterfield is a local family-owned independent business. Our Chesterfield shop is now one of four and is our flagship store which has now been established in this historic market town for over 25 years.
The business was started in 1992 originally as a butchers, from a small shop located on the outside of the towns’ market hall.
Over 10 years later we began to slowly outgrow this little shop and realised there was a consumer need to add other food options.
It was in 2014 when we eventually moved into bigger premises on the opposite side the road.
Our new modern shop now includes a farm food hall incorporating butchers, a delicatessen and a café with seating areas both inside and outside.

Locally Sourced Meat
We sell an array of meats, including free range and rare breed meat from our own farm and other local farmers. Our traditional meats include beef, pork and lamb. Our poultry is produced in Staffordshire and Cumbria.

Our well Stocked Deli which offers Traditionally Cooked Meats & our own produced award winning pork pies, meat pies, pasties and slices. Something different and traditional include fresh tripe, hodge, chitterlings and cow heel.

Fresh Fish Daily
Our fresh fish is sourced from Grimsby docks daily, traditional varieties include salmon, cod, haddock, plaice, lemon sole, mackerel, traditionally smoked haddock, Manx kippers.

Open Theatre Kitchen
All meals are cooked in an open theatre kitchen and our staff produce a traditional fayre of English meals. All our which are made using ingredients straight from the food hall.
